By Popular Demand The Rice Table Presents Our First Authentic Rijsttafel
Rijsttafel, a Dutch, word that literally translates to "rice table"; hence the origin of our restaurant’s name, The Rice Table. The meal is elaborate consisting of numerous side dishes, accompanied by a variety of different rice preparations.
Spend an Evening in Bali without Leaving Town
Enjoy a night of authentic Indonesian culture, unique cuisine, Balinese dancers, and Gamelan music. Upon arrival, you will receive a complimentary glass of wine with appetizer, the better to enjoy the mystique of the dancers and music. Dinner will be served at approximately 6.30 pm. with Chef Chris Reed and his team topping off the evening with one of his amazing dessert creations.
The Balinese Dancers and Gamelan Music are presented by Mr. Igusti Ngurah Kertayuda, head of the Indonesian Dance of Illinois.
