Lagniappe: An Underground Dinner To Support One Hope United

Lagniappe
noun la·gniappe \ˈlan-ˌyap, lan-ˈ\
1. Chiefly Southern Louisiana. A small gift given with a purchase to a customer, by way of compliment or for good measure; bonus.

You are invited to Lagniappe, a spirited dinner celebrating the food and music of New Orleans. Enjoy an exclusive Cajun themed underground dinner by Chef Chris Reed of Rice Table Catering (www.thericetable.com) with paired cocktails, wine and beer from Revolution Brewing.

The evening will feature a performance from musical artist Ben Lamar Gay (http://soundcloud.com/benlamargay)

Ben LaMar Gay (BLG) is a composer/cornetist/vocalist/producer

who moves components of sound, color and space through folkloric

filters to produce brilliant electro-acoustic collages. The unification

of various styles is always in service of the narrative and never a

pretentious display of technique. BLG’s true technique is giving life

to an idea while transforming the thought and theory of the

term “Americana”.
